Bandoneonist, pianist, and accordionist Shinjoo began her piano study at the age of five and has grown to inhabit classical, tango, and new music genres. Shinjoo has collaborated with music, dance, and film artists in multi-disciplinary projects as an improviser, ensemble musician, and producer in the US, Canada, Korea, and Latin America. Shinjoo’s notable appearances include Marlboro Music Festival, Teatro Colón debut with Branford Marsalis Quartet, and Música Maestra ensemble by Diego Schissi. Creator of Lo Que Vendrá: Piazzolla Marathon, she performs extensively with tango ensembles.
