Rie Suzuki

Clarinetist Rie Suzuki has performed throughout Asia, Europe, and North & South America. Born in Japan, Rie now resides in Philadelphia since 1999 when she joined the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia. She also performs with the Black Pearl Chamber Orchestra, The Philadelphia Ballet, among others. Her live broadcasts include WQXR, WRTI, and podcasts from the National Gallery of Art in D.C. Her most recent recording of "Threes" by Maurice Wright was released in 2020. Rie is a graduate of Musashino Academia Musicae in Tokyo and The Peabody Conservatory. She is a clarinet professor at Rowan Univ.
