Manuela Isabel Romero-Gonzalez

Manuela is a native Cuban-Venezuelan violinist and music educator. At 15, Manuela was the first violin at the Youth Orchestra of Caracas (EL SISTEMA) and was awarded special mention at the Hasson violin competition. In 2014 Manuela moved to the United States to study at the University of Southern Mississippi where she obtained a Master's Degree in violin performance in 2018. Currently, Manuela is a funder member of the Kahlo String Quartet and in the and summer of 2019 performed at the Carnegie Hall Weill recital hall. She is a full-time string teacher at the Philadelphia School District.
